J.K. Institute of Applied Physics and Technology comes under Allahabad University. It was inaugurated by Jawaharlal Nehru in 1956. Since then this college is providing education to many college students. “jkinstitute.ac.in” is the official website of J.K. Institute which was built around 2006.

Problem Statement In The Old Framework Of The Website.

In 2006, J.K Institute’s website was developed with Joomla framework. Joomla is an open-source CMS framework. So at the time when the institute’s website was developed Joomla was a good option. But with the rapid change in technology, the institutes need up-gradation. J.K. institute approached us for the solution.

We first analyzed the whole website and noted the changes that the website needed. Also, we note down the extra features that were needed to the website.

The problem with the older website was that it was running on an older open-source framework. So security was a major issue faced by the college. Also, other problematic things like website were very slow, there was no proper section for notices, study materials and exam schedules.

As our CEO, Mr. Vishal Jaisawal was a former student of the J.K. institute, the institute approached his team. And then we start preparing to analyze the website.

We added different features to the website. We have created different sections of Home, Courses, Students, People, Facilities, Placement Cell and so on. We divided the sections to make the website look more organized. Also, we added attractive graphics and optimized the website with SEO techniques. Moreover, we make sure that the website loading speed decreases.
