Successfully Completed Entrepreneurship Development Programme with ILO’s SIYB Training Methodology

We are delighted to share the successful completion of the Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP), conducted from 18th February to 6th March 2025. This intensive training was jointly organized by the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development, Odisha, and ILO DWT/CO-New Delhi, following the globally recognized Start and Improve Your Business (SIYB) training methodology developed by the International Labour Organization (ILO).

About the SIYB Training Programme

The SIYB (Start and Improve Your Business) methodology is one of the most widely used entrepreneurship training tools, designed to empower aspiring and existing entrepreneurs with essential business skills. The training covered four key modules:

⿡ Generate Your Business Idea (GYB) – Identifying and developing viable business ideas.
⿢ Start Your Business (SYB) – Equipping entrepreneurs with the skills needed to launch their ventures.
⿣ Improve Your Business (IYB) – Enhancing business operations for better efficiency and profitability.
⿤ Expand Your Business (EYB) – Scaling businesses to new heights.

Engaging Learning Experience

The 12-day training program featured:

✅ Interactive Icebreaking Activities – Building connections and fostering collaboration.
✅ Expert-Led Sessions – Insights from successful entrepreneurs who shared their real-world experiences.
✅ Practical Learning – Hands-on exercises, business simulations, and case studies.

The program provided an excellent platform for participants to develop their entrepreneurial mindset, gain industry insights, and enhance their business planning skills.
